Menapians juvenile athletes competed in the All Ireland track and field championships which were held in Tullamore last weekend. This was the clubs best ever haul of medals at these All Irelands, the athletes took home a total of 6 medals
Two of Menapians most dedicated athletes have reaped the benefits of their hard training and been selected for Irish duty over the coming weeks. Conor Wilson has made the Irish schools team and Niel O'Grady has made the Irish triathlon team.
Menapians competed with distinction at the Juvenile Leinster Championships last weekend, which were held in Tullamore and also in the Dublin Championships in Santry
Menapians mens team are in 8th place after a very competitive round 1 of the national league and a tremendous effort from our womens team see's them in 9th position over all.
Menapians competed in the first round of the Mazda League last Sunday in Tullamore with our men competing in a very tough premier division and our ladies competing in division 1.
Menapians competed both at home and abroad this weekend as there were more personal success and fantastic results. (No times from leinsters for sprints as of yet)
There was alot to cheer for with Menapians this last 2 weeks with our juveniles cleaning up the Leinster pairs and relays and a very successful day in Rosslare as the Menapians broke the marathon world record in a relay attempt. Hynes runs 10.81 in spain

Menapians AC was formed in 2001 by Michael McKeon, Jimmy and Ann O'Neill, Margaret Malone, Shane McCormack, Kevin Cogley, Alan Mahoney, Glen Robinson, Paul Crowe and Jamie O'Neill. We are Wexford towns only Senior athletics club and also cater for all Juvenile age groups. We have qualified coaches in all events and have several past, current and future Internationals in our club.
