Wexford Annual 4 Mile Road Race

On Sunday, October 25th 2026, athletes will converge from near and far on Wexford town for the annual Wexford Festival 4 Mile Road race. The race is part of the fringe programme coinciding, as it does, with the world renowned Wexford Festival Opera and Wexford Spiegeltent Festival. This year’s exciting round-town course is flat and super fast and is sure to be a big hit with everyone. The fact that the race is used as a fundraiser for local charities - Wexford RNLI and Wexford Special Oympics Club - also adds to its popularity. The beneficiaries in 2025 were Wexford RNLI and Wexford Special Oympics Club. This year’s race takes place Sunday, October 25th.
