Streets of Athboy 5k.
Our ever young Masters athlete Martin Kelly was on the road again and made his way to Athboy. Fr Murphy AC hosted their very popular 5k around the streets of Athboy and Martin was 2nd in the M65 category finishing in 20:19.
Great running again from Martin, congratulations.
Pink Rock 10k
Hosted by St Joseph's AC the Pink Rock 10k is a well organised race with a fairly flat course alongside the river Barrow. It has a great appeal as Wexford, Waterford & Kilkenny athletes all take part due to its location. Our 9 athletes were full of praise afterwards. Brian, Helen, Michael, Sarah, Ilze, Mary, Fran & Paul ran the 10k route while Gareth ran the 5k.
Today our ladies were the 3rd ladies team, an excellent result well done.
