Achill Roar Adventure Race

Sharon Martin made the long trip to Achill Island last weekend. She made the journey worthwhile by placing 2nd in the women's sport race and 8th overall in The Achill Roar Adventure Race after being pipped in a sprint finish.Fantastic work again from Sharon.

Toddy Moore 10k

After a reschedule Kilmore AC hosted their popular 10k earlier today. A fantastic day for the club as Noirín was 2nd in the women's race, Tony was 1st man O50 and Lisa was 1st on Junior Girls race.

To top all of that the womens team placed 1st with Noirín, Kirsty, Casey & Ilze getting their names on the winners circle.

Amazing performances from everyone who represented the Club today. Fantastic to see the club colours supporting our friends at Kilmore AC.

Copenhagen Half Marathon, World Half Marathon Championships 2026.

Brian Smyth travelled to Denmark for the World Half Marathon at the weekend. He wrote of his trip below

"On Sunday, I dropped over to Denmark and took part in the Copenhagen Half Marathon. This year it was also designated as the World Half Marathon. I toed the line with almost 40,000 other competitors containing many of the world's most elite athletes. On what was a very fast, flat course through the scenic streets of the city, I finished in a time of 1:30:27. "
