Mr Oil County Throws
The Mr Oil County Throws event was held on Wednesday in DMP grounds.
A big thanks to all who helped out and to DMP AC for hosting the event.
Tracey Nolan took bronze in the senior womens hammer and silver in the masters women's hammer.
Josh Nolan took silver in the Under 18 hammer while Alex Lonergan took bronze.
In the Discus Tracy took bronze in the senior women's competition and gold in the masters women's.
Josh took gold in the under 18 discus with Alex taking bronze.

Mick Murphy 5k
The historic village of Ferns was the venue as SBR AC hosted their popular 5k run which follows a well known loop around the village. The start and finish area is overlooked by Ferns Castle which has seen many battles in its history with some battles of the running kind as athletes battle for times and places.
As always Menapians AC were present and supporting club races wearing their club vests with pride.
With 80 finishers coming in under 20 mins it's becoming known as a fast race with lots of competition for places.

Club Yoga on the Mountain
The latest installment of our 12 months of Celebrations saw club member Ann Thomas kindly hosting a Yoga Session at Skeeter Rock viewing point on Forth Mountain. Super views of the counties South Coast was the backdrop as Ann took us through a yoga flow before a coffee stop at Rustig Farmhouse Café on the way home.

Achill Island Half Marathon
The latest installment of where is Enda running has been answered. This time it's Achill Island as he made his way west to run the Half Marathon on the island.
This time he ran his quickest half of the year finishing in 2h 11m, congratulations Enda.
Never Give Up 10k & 5k
Destination Gorey for our 3 on Sunday morning to tackle two different races. John and Jen both ran the 10k event which was a challenging course and Sharron ran the 5k event.
Blessed with fine weather to add another dimension to the difficulty level but all three finished strongly with a grin (or grimace) on their faces, well done.
