In Tullamore Josh Nolan was competing in Senior Javelin (800g) for Wexford CBS
Up against the countries best throwers Josh stuck to his task and threw his way to a fantastic 4th place.
A true testament to Josh's workmate, 4th in the country !

Cork City Marathon
Ryan Midwinter completed his first ever marathon today, the Cork City Marathon, he finished with a great time of 3:45.
Dave Midwinter completed the half marathon in a time of 1:53.
Two great runs from a father and son, well done gents.
Wexford Festival of Running 2026
A festival of a different kind took place in Johnstown Castle as the historical venue saw a huge gang of athletes all ready to challenge themselves.
Multiple race distances were available as 100k, 50k, 25k and 10k options with different start times throughout the day.
A scenic loop was marked, the start/finish gantry erected and off they went.
Great to see our members supporting other clubs events.
Anthony took 2nd place in the 50k, Casey just missed 3rd in 10k by mere seconds well done.

VHI Women's Mini Marathon
Janette Mulvany and Sharron Dier made the trip to Dublin to run through 10k. 30,000 women filled the streets of Dublin City as they completed 10k route in favourable conditions.well done Sharron, run finished in 1:16:38 and Janette in 1:45:49
