Mr Oil Senior Road Race 2026

Friday evening in Ferns saw the clubs of Wexford proudly wear their colours as the village was filled with athletes and supporters alike. The Senior RR brought the counties athletes together as they prepared to tackle the well known loop in Ferns. A little bit damp probably helped keep everyone cool.

The historic castle in the village overlooked the battle for honours as athletes emptied the tank on the final incline to the finish right under the castle.

Our fantastic 4 put in huge performances on the night giving everything they had, a massive well done to all four of our ladies.

Women 5k:

  • 5th Noirín Doyle 19:04

  • 14th Helen Wallace 21:24

  • 25th Kirsty Hynds 23:17

  • 28th Casey Jordan 23:39

Dingle Adventure Race

Sharon Martin blew away her competitors as she Powered her way to first place in the Women's Sport Race on Saturday. Tough winds made the race more interesting as she race up and down a mountain and added in a few cycles just for fun !

Sharon is in great form adding this win to her 2nd place in her previous outing the B.A.R.
