Today, some of our teenage athletes got themselves a day off school to compete in the South Leinster Schools Track & Field which took place at SETU Carlow.
*Josh Nolan in Wexford CBS colours won the javelin event with a super throw of 43.14m winning a Gold medal throwing a new PB (800g)
*Elijah Page Redmond wearing St Peters colours threw 36.63m to win a silver medal throwing a PB (800g)
*Fiachra Mehigan ran in Wexford CBS colours in the 3k race finishing in 3rd winning a bronze medal.

Another weekend of competition saw five of our athletes wearing the club colours proudly at the Enniscorthy Sportshub. A blustery breeze combined with sunshine was the order of the day across the two days of competition.
Leo Conde and Toni Gregov represented the Club at Under 9 on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Enniscorty Sports Hub. First up was the turbo javelin with both young athletes performing well in this event. Next up was the 300metres and both boys had strong runs in what was their first county championships in Menapians colours.
Onto Sunday,
Lexi Hennebery was competing in the county championships for the first time running a fantastic 80m sprint and jumped really well in the High Jump.
Josh Nolan continued on from his last day of competition with Gold in 100m Hurdles, Bronze in Long jump and finished his day with Silver in 200m Sprint.
Fiachra Mehigan ran the speedy 800m race winning silver.
Thanks to our coaches and volunteers across the two days without whom these events could not happen.
Finally thanks to the parents who brought these fantastic young athletes to Enniscorthy to compete
