With a large crowd gathering from 10am to participate and support the athletes, it was certain to be a great day for clubs across the county. As always, Menapian’s AC was represented in great numbers with 17 athletes turning out across the various age groups.

Cuan Monaghan, Oisín Moran and Chloe Carroll performed very well in the under 9s age group with Cuan qualifying for the semi final in his 60m sprint. Oisín and Chloe also did very well in this event and all three participated in the turbo javelin and middle distance which was 300

metres for under 9s. A great effort by our three youngest competing athletes, well done Cuan, Oisín and Chloe.
